Maintenance Electrician
FlexTrades is hiring Maintenance Electricians for various locations across Vermont, New York, and Pennsylvania. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining processing and packaging equipment with a focus on manual and controls-based tasks. Candidates should have experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs (5000 series), VFDs, automation instrumentation, and electrical drives. Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments and GMP is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair processing/packaging equipment.
- Handle both manual and controls-based troubleshooting.
- Mentor full-time employees on best practices.
- Work with VFDs and instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow sensors).
- Perform tasks within SAP for maintenance work orders.
- Calibration experience is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs.
- FDA-regulated environment and GMP knowledge (food preferred).
- Willingness to mentor and guide FTEs in best practices.
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay: $42/hour.
- Guaranteed overtime each week (time and a half).
- Full benefits package, including travel and lodging reimbursement.
