Debug Technician

Nationwide travel role with potential job sites in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee.
Job Summary
As a Debug Technician with FlexTrades, you will focus exclusively on hardware-related troubleshooting within server racks and computing equipment. You will identify and resolve test failures, interpret firmware feedback, and use Linux command-line tools to isolate issues — helping ensure uptime and performance across critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues within server and computer racks
- Analyze test failures and interpret firmware results to determine root causes
- Use Linux and command-line tools to support test operations and debug issues
- Work independently to identify issues and ensure hardware functionality
- Collaborate with test teams to validate fixes and maintain test continuity
Candidate Requirements
- Solid understanding of computer hardware functionality and diagnostics
- Working knowledge of firmware behavior and start-up testing processes
- Proficient in Linux OS and Linux command-line troubleshooting
- Analytical mindset with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Able to pass a drug test and work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel and commit to assignments lasting 3 to 12 months
- Available to work 2nd or 3rd shifts with 50+ hours per week
Compensation & Benefits
- $48/hour + guaranteed overtime paid at time and a half
